Louise's has been the bar on Mass Street since 1957. We've hosted everything from engagement parties and birthday blowouts to fraternity date nights and post-game celebrations. Two floors, a full bar, a patio, and a staff that actually knows how to keep a party moving.
Whether you need the upstairs for 40 people or the entire building for 100, we'll set it up and get out of the way. No banquet hall awkwardness. No overpriced catering packages. Just a real bar with real drinks and a room full of people who are there for you.
WHAT WE OFFER
Full Bar Buyout
Rent out the entire bar for your group. Both floors, the patio, pool tables, jukebox, and a dedicated bartending staff. Capacity sits around 85-100 guests for a full buyout. This is the move for engagement parties, milestone birthdays, reunion weekends, and any event where you want the whole place to yourself.
Upstairs Private Space
The upstairs at Louise's has its own bar, rounded booths that seat eight or more, foosball, and a vibe that feels separate from the main floor. It's the right size for groups of 20-50 who want their own space without booking the whole building. Great for birthday parties, going-away parties, watch parties, and casual corporate events.
Group Bookings & Reserved Sections
Smaller group? We can reserve a section downstairs or on the patio for your crew. Pool tournament with your office. Happy hour with your team. Sunday watch party with your fantasy league. Tell us what you need and we'll make it work.

KU GREEK LIFE & STUDENT EVENTS
Louise's sits a few blocks from campus, and we've been part of the KU experience for decades. Fraternities and sororities book with us for date nights, chapter socials, philanthropy fundraisers, end-of-semester parties, and alumni events.
The upstairs works well for smaller chapter events. Full buyouts work for formals and bigger date nights. Either way, you get a private space with a full bar, no venue rental fees that eat your budget, and a location your members already know and like.
